Describing the various aspects of Women Empowerment, a book “Gender Empowerment – Choices and Changes” was launched in the 5 day workshop on Capacity Building for Women Manager in Higher Education which is going on in MLSU.

The book was inaugrated by Prof. Prem Kumar, Prof. Sushila Kaushik and Prof. Harsha Parikh.

The book has vastly portrayed the sensitive subject of women empowerment by including various research works done on women. It contains subjects including Women Rights, Women Health, Women Welfare and Women employment.

Published by Himanshu Publication, New Delhi the book is edited by Prof. Vijay Laxmi Chouhan, Dr. Dolly Gandhi and Dr. Jai Shree Singh.

Prof. Kanika Sharma, Director biotechnology, Prof. Nafia Hatimi and Dr. Meenakshi Jain were also present on the occasion of book launch and discussed on the subject.

All the guests who were present on the occasion had shared their views on the book and find it necessary in the present scenario where women empowerment is one of the key social necessities.

Prof. Vijay Laxmi Chouhan presented the summary of the book and explained about gender, me and gender auditing.
