Students of MohanLal Sukhadia University had an enriching experience with Akshay Patra Sansthan, an initiative of Hare Krishna Movement which conducted a free of cost 2 hours seminar on Art of Mind Control.
The University Auditorium was filled to brim with bubbling students fascinated by Ananta Shesha Das’s presentation for Knowledge Imparting Program. Even then about 400 students had been locked out of the Audi due to insufficient space after the program had started punctually.
The attendees were all given kits containing prayer beads and some mantras to chant along. The presentation focused on how can one understand his mind and improve its ability to operate better. Ananta Das used practical experiments on stage to teach using volunteers from the attendees.
The Organization had initially started with conducting workshops and seminars in big corporate companies where they were advised to channel their energy on developing the buds and this motivated them to work on the youth.
This is their first chance in Udaipur with such a large group, however they did a small program last year in a college in Udaipur. Nikhileshwar, a representative says that this is the beginning of the activities of the Jaipur based group now in Udaipur also. They are planning follow-ups for this Seminar very soon after observing such a tremendous response from the students.
Akshay Patra holds the Limca Book of Records Certificate for being the largest organization feeding children and has centres in 9 states across the country.
