A car burst into flames today afternoon at the LIC office compound located near Delhi Gate. The car has been partially damaged due to fire; however no casualties have been reported yet. The flames were extinguished by the fire brigade.

According to sources, the car owner Jagdish Mehta, a computer operator at Zawar Mines came to the LIC office at Delhi Gate for some work at around 2 pm today. His car, a blue color TATA Indica was parked at the LIC office compound. A few minutes later, someone noticed flames coming out from the car.

It is alleged that the garbage that was left burning near the car caused the incident.

A driving license, mobile charger and few household goods were damaged including the whole interior of the car.
