CCTV Cameras Installed in Gulab Bagh Zoo
In order to prevent anti-social elements troubling zoo animals, the forest department of Udaipur has installed close circuit cameras in various parts of the zoo including cages to keep a close eye on the activities of such intruders. Out of 13, 10 CCTV cameras have already been installed in at the entrance of the zoo and in the cages of bear, leopard, tiger, crocodile etc.

Out of 13, 10 CCTV cameras have already been installed in at the entrance of the zoo and in the cages of bear, leopard, tiger, crocodile etc.
According to the information provided by Zoo authority, these CCTV cameras will also help them in monitoring activities of the animals as many cases of sudden death of zoo animals have been reported in the past few months.
The installation work started on March, 28 2012 and it is expected to get over by April, 5 2012.
