It was an evening of celebrations at the Body Craze Health Centre, Madhuban as everyone’s favorite and protagonist, Sanju Baba (Rajneesh Sharma) was given a champions welcome. Rajneesh Sharma, a.k.a Sanju Baba won a Gold medal in the recently concluded National Bench-press Tournament and Western Zone Power lifting Competition held at Jabalpur. Team Rajasthan, led by Udaipur based International Power lifter Bhupendra Vyas, won 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze medals in the tournament, of which the Udaipur strongmen and strongwomen grabbed 3 Gold medals. The other winners in the Benchpress tournament were Rajkumari Yadav d/o Pritam Pahalwan, in the 72 kg category and Indira Bhandari in the 63 kg category. Rajneesh, playing in the 120 kg category, lifted 185 kg. He said that he could have lifted a 10kg higher press, but it was not needed as the 185 kg gave him the honors. The other winners from Udaipur, in the Powerlifting category were Naveen Sharma, in the 74 kg weight category and Mukesh Kumar, in the 105 kg weight category.
