National Service Scheme (NSS) and Women Cell of the Meera Girl’s College organized a rally today at 11 am. The aim of the rally was to spread awareness and appeal the citizens on issues concerning, Female Feticide, Women Rights, Environment and Water conservation.

The rally started from MG College, passed through Chetak Circle and Court Chauraha and ended back in college premises.

The students’ union of MG College also participated in the rally and contributed towards the success of rally.

The girls pledged to take sincere note of all the women and environment related sensitive issues. “People have become ignorant and careless, they need to be awakened before it is too late”, said Chanda Kumawat, President, MG College.

Kumawat, also said, “I request people to stop killing girl, child save trees and preserve water. And most importantly, I appeal to the women section of the society to be aware of their rights and exercise them”.
