On the occasion of World’s AIDS Day, A.R.T Centre of Rabindranath Tagore Medical College organized various events including Inter-school/college Drawing Competition, Poster Exhibition, a meeting of the Institutes for AIDS Control and camp for voluntary HIV Test.

The exhibition of posters arousing AIDS awareness was inaugurated in the outdoor of Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital by Dr. D.P. Singh, In-charge and Superintendent of A.R.T Centre. The Inter-school/college Drawing Competition was organized with the joint efforts of Kanhiyalal Nagar Institution at Town Hall Compound on the topic ‘AIDS: Causes & Prevention’.

Prateek Siroya (Class X) of St. Anthony’s School stood first, in the drawing competition while Harshil Khodpia (Class IX) of St. Anthony’s Sr. Sec.School and Tanuja Paliwal (Class IX) of St. Teresa School won second and third prize respectively and fourth and fifth positions were bagged by Sonali Rajkumawat (Class IX) of St. Teresa School and Priya Purbia (Class XII) of Central Academy.

The winners were felicitated by Dr. Gurdeep Kaur, Nodal Officer, A.R.T Centre; Dr. S.P. Mathur, S.M.O. and Virendra Nagar, Director, Kanhiyalal Nagar Institution.
