Education Minister announces new jobs in Seminar

The Minister of State for Education, Brij Kishore Sharma, announced 84 thousand new jobs for teachers in the State, in a seminar on Women Empowerment today. A two day National seminar on “Women Empowerment, a Challenge of the 21st Century” commenced today at the Rajasthan Mahila Teachers Training College, Udaipur. More than 150 participants from various states will share their articles on the theme of the seminar.

The Minister of State for Education, Brij Kishore Sharma, announced 84 thousand new jobs for teachers in the State, in a seminar on Women Empowerment today.

A two day National seminar on “Women Empowerment, a Challenge of the 21st Century” commenced today at the Rajasthan Mahila Teachers Training College, Udaipur. More than 150 participants from various states will share their articles on the theme of the seminar.

Speaking on the first day of the seminar, Minister of State for Education, Brij Kishore Sharma addressed the audience with an inspirational and insightful speech on the position of Indian women and the necessary steps to build a secure and opportunity filled social environment for women.

The core objective of the Seminar is pointing, discussing and solving the challenges coming in the way of Women Empowerment in the 21st century.

The Minister has also assured job placements for 15,000 third grade teachers soon.

Leading the seminar, Member of Parliament, Raghuveer Singh Meena has commended the elevating position of women in many fields and departments; however he has also expressed his concern over the issue of gender bias. “The exchange of information and ideas in this seminar will help in creating mass awareness and also boost the movement of Women Empowerment”, said Meena.

While speaking as a Special Guest at the event, Rajsamand MLA, Kiran Maheshwari has anticipated a positive output of the seminar. She said, “There are a number of talented women in our society but the need of the hour is to bring forward those endowed women and give them opportunities.”

Earlier, Dr. Prabha Vajpayee, Principal of Rajasthan Mahila College welcomed the guests and introduced the motive of the seminar. The Chief Guest lighted the traditional lamp and formally inaugurated the program.

Many educationists, researchers and representatives from different states are participating in the seminar. Ex MLA, Trilok Purbia; Dr. B.M Dadhich and Dr. S.S Parakh were also present in today’s program.
