Fateh Sagar Gates Opened Amid Rising Water Levels
Widespread rainfall recorded across Mavli, Kurabad, Lasadiya and Salumber

Udaipur, Oct 28, 2025 - Owing to continuous rainfall in Udaipur district and heavy rain in the catchment area of Fateh Sagar since yesterday, three gates of Fateh Sagar were opened this morning by 2 inches each. This information was shared by Dipika Nagda, Junior Engineer from the Water Resources Department. Earlier in the night too, the gates were opened once.

Water from Fateh Sagar is flowing into Udai Sagar through the Ayad river, and hence, the level of the opened Udai Sagar gates had to be further raised.
In the past 24 hours, rainfall recorded in the following districts was: Mavli – 12 mm, Kurabad – 19 mm, Lasadiya – 35 mm, Sarada (Salumber) – 30 mm, Jhallara – 19 mm and Salumber – 16 mm.
