The much awaited moment finally arrived on 13^th August in the night when the Water Irrigation Department opened the overflow gates of Lake Fateh Sagar. Hundreds of people gathered around the overflow to witness the grandeur of it.

In no time, the news of Fateh Sagar overflow spread across social media and Udaipurites came to know about this information.

Due to continuous inflow of rainwater from several outlets, the overflow in Fateh Sagar is expected to continue for next few days. The last time the lake overflowed was on 13th September 2014.
