The much awaited artificial water fall at Moti Magri facing the beautiful Lake Fatehsagar has been successfully tested by UIT officials today evening. The experiment was successfully conducted though it might take a few more days for the common public to observe the magnificent fall.
The construction work was started in Oct 2011 by UIT to beautify the lake view and the adjoining hills of Moti Magri. The 85 feet water fall is designed with a diverse architectural notion and has cyclic functionality attached with the lake water.
“Today we have tested it with 15hp but now we will add one more pump”, said Anil Nepaliya, Executive Engineer, UIT. There will be various colorful lights to be set in different locations within and around the fall to make it more beautiful. The fall will start every evening for 2 hours”, said Rameshwar Prasad Sharma, Secretary, UIT.
