According to Dr. N C Jain, CCF WL Udaipur, “In this series we are organising a very special nature trekking programme on 25th September, 2011 for Goramghat, where the participants will have an opportunity to have a heritage train safari through the most beautiful valley interspersed with cascading waterfalls and amazing natural beauty.”

It is an easy trek with slight hike and people from all age and classes can join at a very nominal charge of Rs. 20 per person. The students will be charged only of Rs. 4 on the production of ID. However it is suggested that people with difficulty in walking may take necessary stick etc.

For Nature Lovers: Trekking to Goramghat

The orientation programme will commence sharp at 9:30 am at Kamlighat followed by welcome tea and light snacks. The participants have to reach the place by the given time and they have to procure their journey tickets from Kamli ghat to Goramghat. The adventurous eco-trekking programme on Jogmandi nature trail will start at 11:30 am after reaching Goramghat by train.

After meandering through the eco trek the participants will reach Jogmandi water fall where there will be a special session for those interested in Nature Photography which will be followed by experience sharing session and lunch which participants have to bring with them.

All the participants have to reach Kamlighat by their own and they must carry with them all daily necessities, umbrella, or rain jacket binoculars, camera etc. including lunch, snacks and drinking water. It is suggested to wear easy clothes, a hat and walking or trekking shoes.

Alok Sansthan has taken the initiative to provide bus facility for this trip at a nominal charge of Rs. 200/- per person that includes food and travel. For bookings (on first come basis) payment should be made before Thursday 22nd September, 2011 to any of the following:

For a group of more than 25 members, a local guide will also be provided who is familiar with the local routes and other useful information.

The return journey in the form of train safari will start from Goramghat Railway Station at 4:30 pm.

The programme aims at exploring winding valleys of Aravalli Hill ranges full of Bio-diversity and scenic beauty.
