Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital organized an awareness rally concerning mental health illness and cure.

The rally was conducted under a 7 day Mental Health Awareness Week started by Psychiatry Department of GMCH.

In today’s rally, 600 students from Geetanjali’s different colleges including Medical, Nursing, Dental, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy took part.

The rally was flagged off by Goverdhan Lal, Ad.S.P. The rally started from Suchana Kendra and concluded at Collectorate

A workshop for children, parents and teachers will be held at GMCH on 9^th Oct whereas on 10^th Oct, a discussion between district tribunal and department of Psychiatry will be conducted to understand the law and other legal aspects for people suffering from Mental Illness.
