As part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Madar Village made a huge leap by becoming an Open-Defecation Free (ODF) village. 

District Collector Rohit Gupta made the announcement at a function in Madar village and congratulated the village community for the same. He talked about the significance of hygiene factors and patted the village community for meeting the ODF target.

The villagers took out a celebratory rally on the occasion to express their accomplishment, satisfaction and happiness.

A large number of people representatives from Udaipur, Badgaon and Madar were present along with social workers on the occasion. They all appreciated the determination and commitment of the villagers in getting the village an ODF status and asked them to continue their momentum in other similar areas.
