The first batch of 41 Pilgrims from the local Shia Dawoodi Bohra Community departed for the annual Haj Pilgrimage, yesterday.

Pilgrims were seen of by their friends and relatives at 7pm yesterday, as they congregated at Expert Services (Coordinator of the Faiz Hussaini), Hathipol.

Ali Asgar Turra and Moiz Ali of Expert Services informed that 70 pilgrims in total have registered for the Haj Pilgrimage this year, from the local Shia Dawoodi Bohra Community.  The first flight, taking along the 41 who left yesterday will depart on 18^th August for Medina from Ahmedabad.  The next lot of 29 pilgrims will depart from Udaipur on 21^st August.  Their flight is scheduled from Mumbai on 24^th August.  The pilgrimage tour will be for 53 days.
