Maharana Mewar Charitable Trust launched a book today based on Maharana Sajjan Singh’s daily journal from the time period 1874-1884 called ‘Haqiqat Bahida Maharana Sajjan Singh’.

Arvind Singh Mewar, President of Maharana Mewar Charitable Trust eulogized in the preface of the book his Great-grandfather as a Suryavanshi Ruler. He informed that Haqiqat Bahida will help people know more about the rulers’ inspiring realities and bring light to his personality and work.

Foundation’s Under-Secretary Bhupendra Singh Auwa told that the book was published by the printing division of Maharana Mewar Historical Publication Trust and the matter for the book was collected from the Maharana Mewar Research Center. With a total of 685 pages, the book is written in Hindi, Mewari, and English. Based on Maharana Sajjan Singh’s entries in his journals, the book also incorporates black & white and colored photographs with his friends.

The book can be purchased from Udaya Museum Book Shop, which is run by Maharana Mewar Historical Publication Trust in City Palace.

Foundation’s Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Janak Singh Chauhan, Giriraj Singh, Sarita Shrimal and Satish Pujari specially contributed to the penning of the book.
