FOR PHOTOS, SCROLL DOWN Almost all the places of Udaipur have been partially plunged into water, many residential areas of old city, including suburbs of Pratap Nagar, Hiran Magri, Fatehpura, Ambamata etc have reported dense rainfall which is surely the heaviest rainfall in Udaipur of this season. The tensest situation arose when wooden planks placed to stop the flowing of water from channel gates (Kala Kivad) of Fateh Sagar have been broken and water started flowing from it with great force. No officials were present to control the situation till early evening when heavy rainfall has even not started. It was between 6 to 6:30 pm when slight drizzling was going on and nobody expected that the condition would be alarming in next few minutes. The clouds roared out with lightning that frightened every one and it started raining heavily. The heavy shower continued for next 1 hour turning the situation worrisome when water level on the roads started going up and then it started entering into the shops and homes. Till writing this news, no incident about any casualties has been reported to UT. The rain showers are still going on and UT will update this news in every 1 hour to share the latest photos of Sunday Rain with our readers.
