INTUC Meeting on 11th Feb

Agenda of the meeting will be to request the central government to control the increasing price rise, implementation of the law made for labors, to start a pension scheme for labors,
G. Sanjeeva Reddy, the President of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) will be addressing the 159th meeting of INTUC, Rajasthan on 11th February at Hotel Hilltop, Udaipur.
Agenda of the meeting will be to request the central government to control the increasing price rise, implementation of the law made for labors, to start a pension scheme for labors, to reinvest in the public welfare sector, the work that is done on permanent basis should not be given on contracts, social security for labors who are under union, increase in bonus, and other issues related to labors of state level.
In the meeting, Reddy will be also giving guidelines and detailed information of the nationwide strike proposed for 28 February. He will instruct and direct the members of the union on how to proceed further in the working of the union and will give important information about the activities of national and international labors.
Jagdish Raj Shrimali of INTUC, Rajasthan said, “We will also discuss the problem faced by labors in the state and try to come up with solutions in the meeting. Two things that we would put emphasis on are: to increase the daily wages of laborers from Rs. 135 to 300 and to reopen the closed private sector businesses which used to generate much employment.”
The meeting will be attended by 30 members of INTUC from all over the country and more than 150 members of Rajya Sabha along with Mangilal Garasiya (MP), Guman Singh, President of National Federation of Indian Railway, Amit Yadav, President of Youth INTUC, Pranav Sangotra, Working President of Youth INTUC and Central Labor Organization of INTUC consisting of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (B.M.S), Central Trade Union (CTU), ATAK and Hind Mazdoor Sabha (H.M.S).
