K. S. Shaktawat was appointed as head minister of Dariba Mines Labour Association and Zinc Workers Federation during a meet held in Chindwara (Madhya Pradesh).

K. S. Shaktawat has been with Shram Aandolan from last 36 years. He has also been involved in the noble work of labour education from last 32 years where he has educated many workers. He has united the scattered labourers through education.

He has also participated in national/international workshops and seminars and has travelled abroad numerous times.
