The finishing touches to the much awaited annual event of ‘Shyam Baba Varshik Jagran’ are being given at the Sukhadia Rangmanch in Townhall. Organized by the Shree Shyam Mitra Mandal Trust, this is the 6^th Annual Event dedicated to Lord Khatushyam ji.

Sachin Goyal of Delhi says that, “A 100 X 100 feet high and 70 feet wide platform (read ‘Darbaar’) is being constructed, which consists of 2000 supporting logs, 3300 bamboos, 100 ply and a quintal ropes”.

Special arrangements for the devotees have been made by facilitating drinking facilities, large TV screens, parking, etc. 45,000 devotees are estimated to attend the event.

The committee’s spokesperson Ghanshyam Singh Bhindar says, “The ‘Darbaar’ would be lit by ample lightning and would be decorated with lush flowers and such decorations. For special decoration, we have ordered flowers from Kolkata”.

“There are 70 architects working day and night to ensure its success” He added.
