Launch of Bilingual book, Yoga Vidya

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline with its origin in ancient India. Yoga helps in attaining a perfect state of spiritual insight and tranquility.These views were expressed by the Yoga masters Dr. Guneet Monga and Dr. T.P. Ameta on the launch of their book titled Yoga Vidya at the Yoga Centre of the M.B. College Ground today on 8th Oct.2011.

The book was released by Prof. I.V. Trivedi, Vice-chancellor, Mohanlal Sukhadia University and Rahul Agarwal, Secretary, Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research.

The book covers various techniques of Yog, Aasan, Preksha Meditation, Power Yoga and Kriyas of Yoga in a very simple way for a healthy life. Above all Yoga Vidya gives a deep understanding about the limitations and precautions that has to be taken care while performing yoga.

Various renowned persons including Vivek Katara, President Youth Congress; Mr. Deependra Singh Chauhan, Secretary Sports Board, Sukhadia University; Mrs. Laxmi Narnama, Director SIERT, Udaipur; Mr.Shailendra Dashora, Director West Zone Culture; Mr. Bhagwati Lal Roat, Zila Pramukh, Dungerpur and many others graced the book launch ceremony.

A live Preksha Meditation demonstration was also performed at the function by Shri Vivek Chouhan who is a State co-ordinator of Jain Vishwa Bharti Preksha Meditation University. The distinguished guests also took part in demo and came to know about the Preksha Meditation.
