Various cultural programs were presented today by student members of Club LOL at Vigyan Bhavan, Ashok Nagar. Club LOL is part of the LOL (Loads of Learning) Magazine which focuses on content outside the course book.

In the 5 ^th meet of Club LOL, Real Social Networking was addressed by special guest, Sanjay Chakraborty, Director of Trion Communications who was a speaker of the meet. Sanjay shared an insightful knowledge and presentation on marketing and advertisement to the club members followed by an interactive session. Siddharth Singhvi, one of the founders of the club said, “Our motive behind such meets is to give a platform to members to learn from each other. In every meet, we try and invite once such person for our interactive sessions who has excelled in other fields also besides education.” Besides a session with Sanjay, the event also consists of cultural activities like singing, dancing, instrument playing and mono acting. Kopal Sharma, Somya Talesra and Himani presented solo songs; Kritika Singhvi played Sitar, while Avinash Nandawat played Guitar and Tabla; Anikant Kumawat presented a mono act and Shubham Jain gave a dance performance.

The club was formed in December by C.A Siddharth Singhvi, C.A Ketan Jain, Gujan Porwal (MBA) and Kritika Singhvi( Joint Secretary, Arts College) under National Intellect Development Trust. It aims at providing a real social network stage for people of Udaipur to come together in person and develop their connections.

“We discuss anything and everything here in the club but except studies. There is lot more to the world than just studies. Anybody can come and join us provided the person belongs to Udaipur”, said Siddharth.

Club LOL is open for all the young people of Udaipur without any age or stream bar at a minimum registration rate of Rs. 10. At present the club has around 100 members from all the streams of education.

A magazine called ‘LOL’ (Loads of Learning) is also published by the club, which focuses on the content outside the course books, which are necessary for the overall development of a person. It has articles both in Hindi and English.

The 16 page magazine is available to all at a subscription of Rs. 150 for 6 months and at Rs. 250 for a year. Two issues of the magazine are already out in the market.
