31^st Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Awards (MMFAA) will be given to the meritorious students on 26^th Feb. for the sessions 2009-10 and 2010-11. These awards are given by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation for their excellent performance in curricular, co-curricular and sports activities.

The Coordinator of Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Awards Ceremony, Dr. Mayank Gupta said that three types of awards will be given viz. Bhamashah Award, Maharana Raj Singh Award and Maharana Fateh Singh Award.

Bhamashah Award was introduced in the year 1983-84 and so far 1056 students have been awarded with it. For the session 2009-10, 19 and for the session 2010-11, 24 talented students have been selected. The prize amount, which was 2001 INR till now has been raised to 7001 INR from this year by the Chairman and Main Trustee of the Foundation, Shreeji Arvind Singh Mewar.

The Foundation has been awarding Raj Singh Award since 1980-81 and has honored 397 students in this category by the year 2008-09. 5 students each have been selected for the session 2009-10 and 2010-11 to be felicitated by this award. The cash prize has also been increased to Rs.5001 from Rs.1001.

Maharana Fateh Singh Award for excellent performance in Board Exams and other achievements in co-curricular and sports fields at school level was initiated in 1980-81 and 1737 students have been awarded so far in this category. 22 students for the session 2009-10 and 37 students for the session 2010-11 have been finally selected to be honored in the award ceremony. The recipient of the award will get Rs. 2501 instead of Rs.751.
