MLSU, Pacific Univ. to host Seminar on Infrastructure Development

The growing Indian economy and emergent urbanization require a strong, steady and productive infrastructure to support this rapid expansion of the economy. In order to think, talk and act effectively on same, a two day National Seminar on ‘Infrastructure Development in India – Perspective, Problems & Prospects’ will be organized in Udaipur on February 10-11, 2012.

The growing Indian economy and emergent urbanization require a strong, steady and productive infrastructure to support this rapid expansion of the economy.

In order to think, talk and act effectively on same, a two day National Seminar on ‘Infrastructure Development in India – Perspective, Problems & Prospects’ will be organized in Udaipur on February 10-11, 2012.

The seminar is conducted under the aegis of Mohanlal Sukhadia University and Pacific Academy of Higher Education & Research University.

30 participants from across the country’s many renowned institutions will be participating in the seminar. The Chief Guests of the opening ceremony will be Mahendrajeet Singh Malwiya, Minister Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Professor B.S. Bist Vice Chancellor of Govind Vallabh Pant Agriculture University and Professor Rakesh Mohan Joshi Director of Indian Foreign Business Institution. The seminars will be conducted at Pacific University, Udaipur.

Professor Sanjay Lodha, spokesperson of M.L.S University has informed that this is the first national level seminar in the state on the subject of Infrastructure development. It is also for first time that M.L.S.U has collaborated with any other University in Udaipur for a seminar.

Telling more about the seminar, Professor Lodha said, “Seminar will be divided into four technical sessions: Roads & Highways, Energy & Power, Rural Development and Social Structure.

The first session will be conducted under the leadership of Professor P.N. Mishra, Director of Management Studies at Devi Ahilya University, Indore.

Second session will be conducted under the chair of Professor Parimal Vyas from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

The third session will be conducted by Professor Pramod Paliwal from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar.

Fourth and last session will be held under the leadership of Professor P.K. Sharma from Khula University, Kota.

The seminar will conclude on 11th February and the Chief Guest of the program will be Adarsh Kishore, Chairman of Axis Bank and corporate trainer Himanshu Buch.

The seminar is also seen as essential as Dr. C.P Joshi, Minister of Road Transport and Highway is from Mewar region.
