An Inter-School Dance Competition organized under a joint association of Sarv Dharma Maitri Sangh and The Universal School, concluded on Saturday evening, 25th August at the Sukhadia Rangmanch.

An Inter-School Dance Competition organized under a joint association of Sarv Dharma Maitri Sangh and The Universal School, concluded on Saturday evening, 25th August at the Sukhadia Rangmanch.

Student’s dance groups from 12 schools of the city took part in the dance competition, which was patriotically themed ‘Ek Shaam Desh ke Naam’.

Maharana Mewar Public School stood first while The Universal School and Central Public School secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Consolation prizes were given to St. Anthony and St. Paul’s School.

The program began after lightning of the lamps by the Chief Guests Hemant Gera, District Collector; Father Norbert Herman of Sarv Dharma Maitri Sangh and Sandeep Singhatwadia, head of The Universal School.

Hemant Gera, in his short address to all present audience and students encouraged the participants and said that we should think and work beyond the social bigotry of casteism and stand united as an Indian.

According to Father Norbert Herman, the competition was going on from the last one month where 60 schools had participated and the final competition was organized on Saturday, 25th August. The judges of the competition were Professor Preeti Agrawal, Chandrakala Choudhary and Ritu Vaishnav.
