The Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation is organizing an exhibition and a workshop for the ‘Upbringing and Involvement of Cultural Painting & Art’ from 3rd to 6th March at Darikhana of Sabhashiromani, City Palace. The visitors will also be treated to Indian Folk music.
The goal of the foundation is to introduce folk music and painting art to the interested members of the public. This is one of the reasons why the exhibition and workshop have been organized close to Holi, the festival of colors.

The visitors will also be treated to Indian Folk music.

On 3rd March, Rang- the exhibition will start with the artists including Rewa Shankar, Rajaram Sharma and Lalit Sharma presenting their art forms. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar will be inaugurating the exhibition.

The visitors would be free to quote whatever they like and also there queries would be solved by showing them a glimpse of the technique used to master the art.

The Foundation would conduct an early morning musical on 4th March in the City Palace compound, where the soothing ‘morning raaga’ will be played. Artists from Udaipur, Krishna Kumar Dehawli would present the traditional Indian ‘raaga’ and Patti Khan will play Saarangi and will present the synchronization.

On 6th March, Ashwini Bhinde will present Indian Classical music in an event at Manak Chowk. Also, to promote Indian Traditional Musical Instruments, many artists will showcase the notes that would be played using Saarangi and Alghojha.
