Narendra Modi Pays Tribute to Maharana Pratap
Pratap Jayanti became all the more special for Udaipur as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi visited the city as the special guest of honor for the occasion. The CM paid a visit to the Maharana Pratap Smarak at Moti Magri today, accompanied by Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar along with other bureaucrats.
Narendra Modi offered flowers at the monument of Maharana Pratap and paid his respect to Mewar’s greatest warrior.
In a short interaction with the media, Modi expressed his thoughts about Pratap. Talking about his trip to the city, he said, “I have been planning to visit Udaipur for the last two years and finally, I have gotten the chance to be here for such an auspicious occasion.”
When asked about the petrol price hike, Modi expressed his anger toward the government, calling it the ‘government’s defeat’. “They could not keep their promise of reducing inflation. Every citizen of India is outraged and distressed because of the government’s latest charade.”
