National Service Scheme Camp Ends
The 7 days camp of National Service Scheme (NSS) concluded today at MPUAT’s College of Fisheries. The Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony was Prof. V.S. Durve, famous educationist and lake water scientist.
The 7 days camp of National Service Scheme (NSS) concluded today at MPUAT’s College of Fisheries. The Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony was Prof. V.S. Durve, famous educationist and lake water scientist.
While addressing the students, Prof. Durve expressed his views on NSS and gave his best wishes to the students. He further added that NSS provides a platform to do some good work for the nation and we should take advantage of such opportunities.
Prof. Durve has praised the social work done by students during the 7 days camp which also include cleaning of lakes and hoped that the work done by NSS volunteers will create awareness among the citizens of Udaipur.
Prof. Vimal Sharma acclaimed the Republic Day Program initiated by students of College of Fisheries. Throwing light on the work carried out by NSS throughout the country, Prof. Sharma urged the students to dedicate themselves to National Service Scheme.
Besides lake cleaning, the NSS will also conduct many programs in future including blood donation camp, road safety movement, Polio free nation etc. Prof. Sharma asked the students to give their support to all future projects of NSS.
On the occasion, volunteers from NSS, Pankaj Nagar, Manish Mehta, Yogesh Yadav, Rohitash Yadav, Tarang Shah and Suman Takad welcomed all the prominent guests of the program and talked about their experiences in the training camp.
