Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School has celebrated the Navratri Utsav wi

 

With nearly a week long school break which starts from today, several schools has marked Navratri and Dussehera celebrations in their schools.

Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School has celebrated the Navratri Utsav with variety of programmes including dandiya raas and fancy dress competitions.

The celebration was started with traditional aarti led by principal of the school, Firdaus Khan Pathan while the programme was managed and executed by Parmeshvari Kabra with coordination of all teachers and other school staff.

Fancy Dress Competition was held for students of nursery to 5th class while garba was played by students of class 6th to 12th.

The programme ended with prize distribution for winners. Among the junior students the first prize winner was Lubhani Singh (class 7th) while second and third prizes went to Tanishka Doshi (8th) and Anjali Kumawat (7th). In senior category Dinesh Badgurjar, Mohit Jain and Suhani Singh won 1st , 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
