New Animals Arrived at Gulab Bagh Zoo
Gulab Bagh Zoo is abode for the new members including a female leopard of 3-4 years of age, a pair of Spoonbill White ducks, two pairs of White Peafowl (White Peacock), twelve Love Birds, one pair of Painted Stroke bird, a pair and a single Silver Pheasant and two pairs of White Ibis.
The Gulab Bagh Zoo has welcomed a variety of new animals today including a female leopard and various species of birds. All animals have been brought from Sakerbagh Zoo at Junagarh, Gujarat in an animal exchange program conducted by Central Zoo Authority.

Pradeep Pradhan, Chief Veterinary Officer of Gulabh Bagh Zoo said, “This animal exchange program is a countrywide event where animals of various zoos are exchanged with other zoos and vice versa.”
The animals are transported from Junagarh to Udaipur under the direction of zoo officer Rahul Bhattani of Sakkarbaug Zoo, Junagarh.
Likewise, Gulabh Bagh Zoo will also send animals including a pair of Greater Flamingo, two Vultures (Long) and two Duck Shovelers by tomorrow i.e.29th March.
