50 women contestants participated in the ‘Kitchen Queen’ cooking competition, which was organized by Celebration Mall as a part of their weekly Saturday Surprise, on 25^th February. The event was coordinated by LG.

The eatables including Strawberry Cake, Coconut Pudding, Shahi Chicken and Pasta were the centre of attraction. Udaipur’s well recognized Chef Sangeeta Dhar was the Judge and she decided on the points based on ranking given on various parameters, viz. Taste, Cooking Technique and Presentation.

Where Nirmala won the first position, Nikita and Nisha emerged as the runner-ups. Nirmala received an award by LG.

In the cooking classes organized by LG a day before the competition, the contestants got exposure to 3 different recopies which were made using the microwave. In the competition itself, the contestants had to make a dish using the microwave.

The management at Celebration Mall informed that every Saturday, as a part of the Saturday Surprise they would be conducting such events. In these events people visiting the mall can participate and can have ‘family fun’.
