NW Railway General Manager Visits City Station

R.C. Agrawal, the General Manager of North Western Railway visited Udaipur’s City station today.
It was his first visit after taking charge of General Manger in January this year. Agrawal inspected City Station and nearby areas of Udaipur and also noted down work in progress.

In his visit Agrawal met representatives of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha and Worker Unions of Railways and discussed problems that are to be sorted out for convenience of locals and travellers.

The discussion included re-scheduling of Ajmer- Hyderabad to Udaipur-Hyderabad, to make Udaipur starting point for Jamu Tavi Express, to increase number of ticket booking windows and separate window for women.

In a talk with local media Agrawal said, “I have seen the work going on at Dungarpur-Banswara railway line, it is going on at a good pace and we hope to finish the project soon. He also indicated Bandra Shalimar Express to start before March 2012.”

“We have been continuously making positive changes in railways for Udaipur and will carry on,” he added further.
