“Babu Ji Theek Kehte The”, a comic play enacted by the Meghdoot Theatre Group from Bhiwani, Haryana was showcased today evening at the Shilpgram’s auditorium.The play saw a packed auditorium, of approximately 200 audiences, who appreciated every act in the play.

The play parleys the thought difference amongst 3 generations of a family, the Grandfather, Father and Son, where at the end of the play, the Son realises that his though process was wrong and his behaviour with his father was unacceptable.
A comedy act, with a tragic end, this play was directed by Kaushal Bhardwaj based on a script on the book “Sanskraman”, written by Kamta Prasad, which details the conflicts between two generations.
Background music for this performance was composed by Abhinav Vashishtha. Anil Bajaj, Shyam Vashishtha and Harsh Vashishtha played the roles of Grandfather, Father and Son respectively, while the role of the Grandmother was played by Pooja Bajaj with the servant’s role being played by Fakira Kapil.
This was the 30th time that this play has been enacted.
Tomorrows play is “Jinne Lahore Nahi Dekhya”, a famous act that has garnered a lot of praise and is a must watch for theatre enthusiasts as well as others who would want to have a feel of live theatre performance.
