Paraplegic athlete Deepa Malik leaves for Jaipur
The team arrived at the Shambhu Niwas Palace’s Basant Chowk today at 10 AM. Students of Maharana Mewar Public School and Vishwaas Samarpit School for mentally challenged welcomed the team.
The Will on Wheels team headed by Paraplegic athlete Deepa Malik departed from Udaipur today. The team was flagged off by Arvind Singh Mewar, President and Trustee of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation in a ceremony held at Shambhu Niwas Palace.
With the mission of spreading awareness on the power and confidence of physically challenged people, the team WOW is on a country tour.
Team leader Deepa Malik driving the modified Renault Duster car is accompanied by 11 members on different vehicles.
The team arrived at the Shambhu Niwas Palace’s Basant Chowk today at 10 AM. Students of Maharana Mewar Public School and Vishwaas Samarpit School for mentally challenged welcomed the team.
Arvind Singh Mewar discussed the rally’s objective with Deepa Malik and commended her and the entire team of Will on Wheels for their spirited campaign. Waving the Mewar flag, Arvind Singh Mewar flagged them off.
The team proceeds towards their next destination in Jaipur.
During the whole event, the Palace band mesmerized everyone with their musical tunes.
