Petrol pumps closed for an Hour
Approximately 25 Petrol pumps of city were closed by the Petrol Pump Association, Udaipur for over an hour in the morning as a condolence to Prakash Chand Gandhi (73), the owner of the Goverdhan Vilas petrol pump, who passed away yesterday.
Udaipur citizens were seen shuttling from one Petrol Pump to another this morning, as most of the Pumps of city were closed down in the early morning peak hours.
Approximately 25 Petrol pumps of city were closed by the Petrol Pump Association, Udaipur for over an hour in the morning as a condolence to Prakash Chand Gandhi (73), the owner of the Goverdhan Vilas petrol pump, who passed away yesterday.
As per workers of the Goverdhan Vilas Petrol pump, “He (Prakash Gandhi) was not well for quite some time; his condition deteriorated yesterday and he passed away.”
Gopal Singh Dalal, President of the Petrol Pump Association said, “We normally keep this kind of closure if such an incident takes place in any member’s family, as a way to express our grief for them.”
“We have kept our pumps closed for 1 and a half hour to pay our condolences to Late Prakash Chand Gandhi, one of the petrol pump owners of our city”, said Hetal Ameen, owner of Patel Petrol pump and Joint secretary of the Petrol Pump Association.
