[Photos] Art of Living celebrates Mahashiv Ratri

Art of Living Udaipur chapter celebrated the festival of Maha Shivratri with prayers and a satsang evening today at the Lok Kala Mandal.

The day began by Sudarshan Kriya early in the morning at 6am followed by a session of Yoga, Pranayam and Dhyan, which was attended by around 500 people.

Art of Living Udaipur chapter celebrated the festival of Maha Shivratri with prayers and a satsang evening today at the Lok Kala Mandal.

The day began by Sudarshan Kriya early in the morning at 6am followed by a session of Yoga, Pranayam and Dhyan, which was attended by around 500 people.

Later in the evening, Swami Shiv Chaitanya, who came from the Bangalore Center, performed the Rudhra Pooja at 5:30 pm. Shivacharyas, a group of 3 men, chanted the Mantra of Om Namah Shivay all along the prayer.

To participate in the Sumeru Shandhya, the satsang evening by Jitendra Saraswat, hundreds of people gathered at the Lok Kala Mandal. The partaking for the event was free of cost and open for all, including members of Art of Living as well as the common public.

Jitendra, with his band of more than 20 members of Art of Living mesmerized the audience with Bhajjans like Om Namah Shivam, Sunderanana, Bhola har har bhola, etc.

Zonal Coordinator of the event, Mamta Khelkhura informed, “This is just a one day event on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. Our Guru ji, Shri Shri Ravishankar is coming to Udaipur on 10th March and we plan to have another event at the B.N College road.”

Starting from today, till the arrival of Shri Shri Ravishankar on 10 March, there are daily Sadhna programs of Art of Living scheduled at Kushal Bhawan, Mewar Motors Link Road.
