It’s been 10 years since Seedling Modern Public School has been giving its services to the students of Udaipur.

The 9^th Annual Function of the school was held on November 16, 2011 at the Municipality Auditorium at Town Hall, Udaipur.

This time, the function was spread in two sessions, to ensure that majority of children and parent participation took place in the event, due to the capacity restriction at the auditorium, as told to UT by Hardeep Bakhshy, the Director at Seedling Modern Public School.

The first session began at 1300 hrs and the second session commenced at 1630 hrs. The Chief Guests at the function were Girija Vyas and Hemant Gera, Collector.

The event was based on the theme of Harry Potter, and it was an express event, very well choreographed and professionally managed by ANDI, a group which has been arranging shows in India and internationally.

Atul was the representative of ANDI at the event and the group managed the performances, the availability of infra and stage setup.

The show commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Hardeep Bakshy and Monica Bakhshy, the Directors at Seedling, followed by the handing over of prizes to students who had given exceptional performance in their academics.

A large number of students, from Nursery to XIIth, participated in the event, which was well choreographed, with an uninterrupted story on the Harry Potter phenomenon built in. The performances of various dances by the students were very well integrated with the Harry Potter story, which was again performed by the students themselves.

Each dance sequence was greeted with thunderous applause by the audience, who enjoyed the breathtaking performances by their children. The choreographed dance sequences were performed on various well known Hindi film and English numbers and it was remarkable to see the younger children of the lot taking each step in synchronisation with the beats.
