Brilliance CPS, the pre-nursery and nursery unit of Central Public School, Udaipur celebrated ‘Grandparents Day’ on Saturday, January 21, 2012.

Grandpas and Grandmas of all junior students were invited to the function held at the CPS Bhupalpura campus.  The program consisted of various interesting games, in which all grandparents participated; there were some touching moments where the elderly guests shared their views.

Director of CPS, Alka Sharma addressed the audience and shared Brilliance’s teaching methodology, which tries to inculcate not only the traditional curriculum and outdoor activities for children but also instills lessons of morals, social values and responsibilities in the children.

“Elders of the family bless children’s life through their experience and teaching, while the children in turn become springs of enthusiasm for their grandparents”, said Manisha Parihar, in-charge of Brilliance.

The program commenced with the ‘Gayatri Mantra’ recited by pre-nursery student Abhishek Toshniwal, which was followed by a game of musical chairs for the elderly, where Nursery student Vaibhav’s grandpa won the musical chair competition.
