‘Old is Gold’, a very famous English proverb remains true in most aspects of tangible material life. The proverb was proven true by a rally ‘Classic India-2013’ of 15 Vintage cars organized by a ROARR Rallies from UK today.

Driving some of the rarest cars of early 90’s on the Indian roads, the rally was flagged off from Delhi and reached Udaipur earlier this evening. The rally would be travelling around five thousand kilometers across western parts of country covering 3 major states Delhi, Rajasthan Gujarat and some parts of MP.

The group is organizing such rallies for past 13 years exploring various parts of India and has included Rajasthan, notably Udaipur, in most of their runs held in India. This year it would be completing tour within 46 days starting from 24th January and concluding on 21st February. Before coming to the city, these vintage cars were in Kumbhalgarh; they would be driven to Dungarpur on 2nd February.

Conard Brich, Director and Organizer, ROARR Rallies said, “Motive behind this drive is to regain glory of engineering master pieces of its time. I was passionate about vintage since childhood. I grew up amidst these old muscular cars as they were my father’s passion too”.
