The cultural fest of M.L.S.U, Swarnim 2012 has marked its first day today with number of activities including Rangoli, Mehndi, Poster making, Face painting etc.

Although the official inauguration of the cultural fest is scheduled tomorrow on 28 Jan by Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, the series of activities have been commenced today at College of Commerce and Management Studies (CCMS). A food fest was also held in the evening.

The students of more than eight colleges of the city took part in all the competitions, as per the information provided to UT by the event coordinators. Madira of College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) won Mehendi competition whereas the second prize for the same was given to Neha of Law College.

Rangoli Competition was won by Sumit of CSSH and Hemlata of CCMS remained on the second position. The first prize of poster making competition was honored to Bandhan of CSSH and Sandeep Jaiswal of BN College stood second for the same.

Mesendhy Messi of CCMS won the first prize in Face Painting Competition and Sumit Tiwari of CSSH settled for the second place.

UT has tried itsbest to providethe result of all the competition but due to lack of coordination we could not provide complete results of the competitions held today.
