It was another busy day for UdaipurTimes.com team; while collecting our daily news and content we had an additional task to execute as UT marks its 2^nd Birthday today.  Instead of hosting a party, we thought of celebrating it with children who face special challenges in their daily lives.

Thus, we tried to extend our joy and happiness with children at the Theosophical Society and HIV positive children of UNPLH (Udaipur Network of People Living with HIV).

The UT team enthusiastically arranged breakfast and sweets for children and themselves and went to the Theosophical Society to serve breakfast to 18 physically disabled children.

Later, a session of chit chat and games were followed by a cake cutting ceremony with the entire UT team of reporters, editors, techies and marketing staff and overjoyed children.

With the help of Samanvay, an NGO working for HIV positive children, the UT team went to see the home of UNPLH at Badgaon, where nearly 10 HIV+ children live happily with their caretakers.  We played with them, we loved their company and hope they also liked us.

UT’s birthday celebration has become more valuable after spending those valuable moments with these children who live in their own world of hopes and dreams…happily.

I felt today that though I am a normal person but still am weaker than these innocent children.  Their needs are so minimal, their demands are so small that it makes them stronger than any other normal and materialistic person like me.

After meeting these God’s angels, I am feeling good today! Happy Birthday UT.
