In the weekly poll that is published on the website, UT asks general questions related to Udaipur raising concerns, issues or highlighting the demands of the public.

Last week, in the poll, we asked the Udaipurites to vote for was the Hospital with the Best Facilities out of MB Hospital, Geetanjali Hospital, GBH American Hospital and Pacific Hospital. The following were the results:

Topping the poll with 45% votes, Maharana Bhupal Hospital has the best facilities in Udaipur. Comprising of Maharana Bhupal Hospital, Pannadhay Janana hospital and TB & Chest hospital, the institute provides super speciality services in the fields of Cardiology, CTVS, Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Nephrology, GI Medicine, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery and Radiation Oncology. Speicalized units of the hospital attract patients from MP and Gujarat as well.

Geetanjali Medical Hospital bags the second position with 25% votes. The tertiary care multi specialty hospital has high tech world class equipment and paramedical facilities under one roof. Also, the emergency services function 24×7 to reach the motto ‘Health & Happiness.’ However, the distance of the hospital from the main city could be a disadvantage for many.

Standing on the third position with 23% votes is the GBH American Hospital. The NABH accredited and ISO 9001:2008 certified multi specialty hospital, provides ICU in Medical, Surgical, Neuro and Cardiac besides delivering pharmacy, diagnostic, trauma, ambulance and emergency services available round the clock. The team may have highly qualified, world class doctors but the cost factor restrains many a patients to be treated at this hospital.

The least favored hospital with 7% vote is the Pacific Medical Hospital. The multi specialty, tertiary level health care center with state of the art facilities has well established departments both in diagnostic and therapeutic fields as well as in supporting logistics services. Situated at Pratap pura, Teh-Girwa, the outskirt location of the hospital adds to the disadvantageous factors.
