Postal Department released a special post stamp on City Palace Museum of Udaipur which is considered as world’s historic heritage. The stamp was made public in a recently held Philately Exhibition – Udaipex 2014.

Bhupendra Singh Ahuwa, chief secretary (administration) of Mewar Charitable Foundation informed, “Postal Department made stamp of the famous “Mor Chowk” of City Palace with an astounding photo of the palace.”

The page with stamp and photograph also gave a brief history and achievements of projects led by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation.

The exhibition was supported by Philately and Numismatic Societies of Udaipur.
