Pratap Jayanti 2013: Procession, Pooja and Celebration continues

In the morning today, members of Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha welcomed tourists at Railway station by applying Tilak from the soil of Haldighati.
Youth representing akhadas held a procession exhibiting their combat skills. The rally was organized by Mewar Shiv Sena.
In the evening, fireworks program was organized at Surajpol, followed by lightning of lamps at Jagdish Chowk. The program was concluded with kavi sammelan at MPUAT campus.
On Sunday, 9th June, the statue of Chetak, the horse of Maharana Pratap was garlanded in a vibrant function held at Chetak Circle.
Tomorrow on 11th June, the day of Pratap Jayanti will be celebrated at Udaipur and Gogunda. Several political personalities, including the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will arrive to attend the functions.
