The leakage in the sewer of Pichola is causing the noxious water mixing into the lake water at the rate of 15,000 litres per hour which is a fatal sign. A meeting was held to mend the worsened matter nigam officers, specialists and lake lovers.

The meet was organized with the combined efforts of jheel mitra sansthan, jheel sangrakshan samiti and Dr. Mohan Singh Mehta memorial trust. Arun Vyas S.E. of Nigam, Satya Narayan Sharma engineer, Tejshankar Paliwal lake lover, Nand Kishore Sharma, Dr. Anil Mehta principal of Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic, B. L. Kothari leader of NLCP etc were participants of this meeting. Paras Singhvi President of Nagar Nirman Samiti told that before covering the sewer, all scientific tests will be done.
