JobsUdaipur.com’s founder Ankush Khanna (27) says, “It was always tough to find out jobs in Udaipur, there are so many job portals but its hard and many a times we lose opportunities, I realized this when one of my friend got a package of Rs.5 lakh in a company in Udaipur, which I never heard of.”

“When I met the company management they told me that they are not able to find right candidate in Udaipur, though I helped them to get many of my friends to join their company but all this left a question unanswered in my mind: How many more such companies are in Udaipur?” said Ankush.

Ankush, a SEO expert and Web developer is working in a US based company in Udaipur, he with other 4 other team members dedicatedly maintains the new and only local job portal of Udaipur.

While talking to UdaipurTimes.com, Ankush said “the scaling level of placement services in Udaipur is very low and placement services are generally not aware of every established company in Udaipur; finally companies fail to find appropriate candidates and job hunters end up losing good opportunities.”

“While JobsUdaipur.com is a dedicated website only for both residents of Udaipur and companies based in the city, they can post or apply for jobs and contact each other,” Ankush said.

The site started in Oct 2011 and already listing hundreds of job opportunities; a user can search jobs according to specific requirements (by type, salary, category, etc). The User can apply online and/or personally according to the job’s specification.

Registration to the site is not necessary for job seekers but employers need to register to post the job titles.

When asked on what new features and services are going to be added to JobsUdaipur.com, Ankush said “We are soon going to add free counseling to job seekers, we are also planning to add “recommendation” page too.”
