165 kids from all over the city participated in the Healthy Baby Competition held today at Central Academy Senior Secondary School, Hiran Magri Sector-3, Udaipur.

The competition was judged by Dr. Pradeep Lodha and Dr. Sanjay Mandot from GBH American Hospital along with Dr. Shikha Sharma, a child psychologist. The judges gave their valuable feedback and suggestions to the parents after the judgement.

The participants went through a general medical check-up in 2 groups, the first group had kids of 1 and 2 years and the second group had kids of age 3-5 years.

For the first group (1 and 2 years) Reyansh Chajjed won the first prize, Kiran Dungarwal came second and Nipurna Bokadia was third most healthy baby of all participants. Tanishq Khatana and Tanzza Kazmi were the winners of the Best Smile and the Best Dress competitions respectively.

Harshal Audichya turned out as winner in the second group while Nayan Jain bagged second prize followed by Ananya Khatna for the third position. The Best Smile was awarded to Chavi Lodha and Pari Doshi was declared the Best Dressed baby.

Shahnaaz Badruddoza, Principal of Central Academy said, “We got a great response from the city for the event. The basic aim was to create awareness about the common health related issues of children and from today’s result I would say we need to be little more conscious about a child’s health.”

Students of the school also presented a cultural program with various activities like skit on environment, dance, poetry, song etc. Chief Guests for the event were Dr. M.G Varshney and Dr Purnima Varshney.

The event concluded with a Ramp Walk by all the kids who participated in the competitions and the announcement of results.
