Sushil Banthia, Chairman of Rotary Mela said, “Like every year,to attract more and more people, this year too we have introduced a Rs.30 raffle ticket and the revenue generated by this will be used to make an Intensive Care Unit at Maharana Bhopal Hospital and a Physiotherapy centre at another place.”

 
Rotary Club Udaipur is organizing a 3 day fair, Rotary Mela 2011 starting from Oct 14 at B.N College Ground. The fair will be a complete fun and entertainment gala consisting of several choices of games and shopping stalls.

“Although there is no entry charge for the fair, but by profits which we will try to generate by selling raffle tickets, Rotary Club will do many social works throughout the year,” says Dr. Nirmal Kunawat, President of the club.

Raffle chairman, V.P Rathi has said that all raffle winners will get many exciting prizes including a Santro Car for 1st winner and a motorcycle for 2nd winner, other 11 prizes are a gearless bike, LCD television, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave etc.

The fair will start from Oct 14 in the morning at 11 am and will remain open till 10 at night for three consecutive days. The organizers are expecting 50,000 people to visit the fair.

Rotary Club Udaipur has done a number of social works from time to time and has received appraisal from citizens. This subsequent encouragement by people has ignited the zeal of Rotarians who are all set to present this year’s fair in a most innovative way.
