Schedule of Dussera Diwali Mela 2011

The much awaited fair of the year, Dussehra-Diwali Mela, 2011 is ready to hit the city with its joy, excitement and gratification. The fair will start from Oct 17 and will culminate on Oct 29, 2011. However, the special evening stage performances will be organized up to Oct 23. Municipal Corporation of Udaipur ( Nagar Parishad), the organizer of these 13 days of fun-n-frolic are ready with all necessary groundwork including setting up a large pandal, shopping stalls, clean-up of adjacent gardens and surrounding and decorative lighting on Parishad’s building. All the programmes will start from evening 7 pm onwards. Schedule

For vehicle parking special arrangements have been made at Shakti Nagar, Shramjeevi College and Hotel Devdarshan and around Parishad’s building (outside part). Passes: Entry passes will be available with respective area/ward councilors. Besides various options of amusement in Fair, there would be a shopping area comprising of 180 stalls of food, clothing, accessories etc. On October 26, there would be a special programme of fireworks.
