Faculty of Commerce, B.N. PG Girls College organised a seminar on ‘Society In search of Leadership’ at Kumbha Auditorium in B.N. PG College, Udaipur today on 19Oct.

The chief guest of the function was Ankit Agrawal, Director, Geetanjali Medicity and Guest of honors was Prem Singh Chundawat, Vice President of Vidya Pracharni Sabha, Udaipur.

In his speech  Ankit Agrawal told that the growth of the society depends on good leaders who can motivate and guide others to do right things at right moment.

Key note Speaker of the programme Prof. P.K. Jain, Director, Faculty of Management Studies addressed the students with his motivational words.

In his speech he asked the students, “How leaders are different from others and what all necessary input an Individual have to put in to become a successful leader in the society.” He showed the fact that today youth is diverted towards a wrong path due to lack of efficient leadership that is causing great harm to the society.

Explaining the qualities of a good leader Prof. Jain said, “To be a good leader one has to be mentally healthy as good thoughts always remain in the mind of an individual, he only needs to bring them out.”

He gave many examples of the great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln and others who could lead the entire world and changed the life of many others due to their healthy and good thoughts. Prof. Jain also educated the students on how to use their knowledge  and academic qualifications  for the benefit of the mankind.

“Society is not looking for persons who have degrees, diplomas and certificates with them; rather society is looking forward for someone who can use these things for the mankind with his energetic thoughts that can help humanity” said Prof. Jain in his impressive speech ; giving many instances and anecdotes to make it not only meaningful but also interesting.

The students gained a lot informative things and ideas from this seminar and also demanded for these sorts of programmes to be conducted on regular basis for their grooming up.

Many eminent personalities like Prof.M.S. Rathore, Secretary, B.N. Institute, Dr. V.S. Shekhawat, Dr. N.L. Sharma were also present in the seminar to guide the students.
